PRINTING TOOLINGS

Elk Machines manufactures toolings and jigs for critical and general printing.  The toolings are used for decorating round, flat, oval and odd-shaped containers.  We offer the following types:

• Mechanical registration toolings.
• Mug-printing toolings.
• Laser registration toolings..

The printing toolings are exchangeable between all Elk screen printing machines.

SQUEEGEE HOLDERS

Heated and standard squeegee blade holders are available in all lengths.  We also provide heating elements and flood bar plates.

HOT COLOR SCREENS

When applying thermoplastic (hot-color) paints, the paint must be heated on the screen.  The screen mesh is made of stainless steel and has a current passing through it, which creates the heat needed to melt the paint.

We offer:

• Insulated screen frames for round and oval items
• Insulated screen frames for items with handles (mugs, pitchers, etc.)
• Stainless steel mesh.

The screen frames and meshes are reusable.  They are available in custom sizes.  You can learn more about thermoplastic printing in our video section.

HOT COLOR UNITS

Portable screen heating units for thermoplastic paints are mounted on wheels and feature an adjustable power supply for heating the screen and the squeegee.  To protect the operator, the screen is heated using a low voltage.

The hot-color units are heavy-duty and designed for many years of reliable operation.

OTHER ACCESSORIES
