The Class 406 semi-automatic screen
printing machine can be used to print up to four colors in one operation
on:
- round and oval surfaces
- mugs
- bottles
- laboratory glass
- cosmetic containers
- tumblers
- many other ceramic and glass items.
The Class 406 machine is fully mechanical.
The set up time for a job is short because there are few adjustments
to be made. It requires only one operator and is designed
to offer years of trouble-free operation.
This machine is used to decorate glass
and ceramic items using thermoplastic (hot-color) paints.
FEATURES
- Computer control for timing of the
machine.
- Mechanical cams for up and down
motion of the screen, squeegee and object shifting mechanisms.
- All moving mechanisms are mounted
on radial and linear bearings and hardened precision-ground shafts.
- 4 independent squeegee mechanisms
with quick release to allow easy access to the screens. The squeegees
also has adjustable tilt and fine adjustments of pressure and
speed.
- 2 gear racks.
- 2 tooling holder mechanisms.
- 2 nose-cone mechanisms with pressure
and speed adjustments.
- Fixed center of tooling and nose-cone
mechanisms to guarantee the quality of the print and to shorten
the set up time.
- Single adjustment of the distance
from the screen to the printed object.
- 4 adjustable screen heaters.
- 4 adjustable squeegee heaters.
- 2 sets of two adjustable self-centering
rollers, used to support a round container during printing.

to 14" (355 mm).
- Variable speed, up to 12 items per
minute (four colors each).
