The Class 106 semi-automatic screen printing machine can be used to decorate:

• flat, round and oval surfaces
• mugs
• bottles
• laboratory glass
• cosmetic containers
• tumblers
• many other ceramic, glass and plastic items.

Changing the machine from flat to cylindrical printing requires less than a minute. The set up times for jobs are short because there are few adjustments to be made.

The Class 106 machine is fully mechanical.  It is fast, quiet and is designed to offer years of trouble-free operation.

FEATURES

• Computer control for timing of the machine.
• Mechanical cam for up and down motion of the screen and squeegee during the printing cycle.
• All moving mechanisms are mounted on radial and linear bearings and hardened precision-ground shafts.
• Squeegee mechanism has a quick release which allows easy access to the screen. The squeegee also has adjustable tilt and fine adjustments of pressure and speed.
• Fixed center of tooling and nose-cone mechanisms to guarantee the quality of the print and to shorten the set up time.
• Single adjustment of the distance from the screen to the printed object.
• Adjustable distance of the screen from the printed surface.
• Mechanism for the fine-adjustment of the screen position.
• Mechanical registration, used for critical multi-color printing.
• Set of two adjustable self-centering rollers, used to support a round container during printing.
• Flood bar for returning paint.

TECHNICAL DATA

• Adjustable screen or squeegee travel from 0" to 18" (460 mm).
• Variable speed, up to 2,100 cycles per hour.

ATTACHMENTS

The following attachments are available for the Class 106 machine:

• Laser registration, used for critical multi-color printing.
• Attachment for printing on oval containers.
• Air inflation for printing plastics with adjustable pressure.
• Attachment which allows printing both sides of a container (in the same color) in one operation.
• Attachment for printing tapered containers.
• Attachment for printing two colors in one operation (see picture below).  This attachment is used for decorating glass and ceramic containers with thermoplastic (hot-color) paints.
